The logical one: John likes to plan and eliminate as many "variables" as possible. He has already planned what we are eating for every meal for every day of our trip. He is responsible for making sure we end up in California without getting too lost in the process. John will be the one constantly keeping track of our progress and making sure we stay on time.
The positive one: Lauren is convinced that life is "unicorns, rainbows and kittens". She is content to get on the road heading west and count on the fact that we will eventually end up in California. She creates a nice contrast to John's planning tendencies. Lauren will be the one singing to the radio and enjoying the scenery.
The sleepy one: Allie is an 11 Aussie that enjoys scratches, snuggling, (short) walks, and naps. Allie is a big fan of car rides because she gets to be near her people and nap. She will be the one sleeping her way across the country.
The mischievous ones: Skittles (the fluffy one) and Tink are people in cat bodies. Tink is foster fail bottle baby from our time in Indiana. Skittles is 2 years old and "large and in charge". These 2 will spend their days in the "kitty condo" that John created and providing the comic relief when we stop each night.
